I took very few photographs this week, I am not sure why that is, I just took very few. Â So out of twenty-five photographs total over seven days, I had to choose one for The 2010 Deck. Â As it turned out, I found some I really liked, and the choice would have been hard had it not been for this particular image in the set.
All the elements just fell into place for this one, and I was very happy with the final shot.
In observance of the holy month of Ramadan I give you this week’s Deck photograph:

We are putting ourselves under a bit of pressure with the very regular photography. Even though yours is only one a week, you still have to take lots of photos in order to get that one.
I think it is inevitable for a bit of exhaustion to set in, but we are really benefiting from this exercise and I really think we should make all efforts to keep it going.
Beautiful photo of the mosque. I love the composition.

One more thing, about Mikhil’s comment. He is right. Take lots and lots of photos the get the right one. For my recent photos of the Roseate Spoonbills, I took approximately 2000 images over a week’s time, and I finally got about 8 of what I wanted on the last day.

Correction, that should be about 200 images. 🙂

Thanks Bob, I am known for taking lots, but I found recently, that I take a few of a scene I like and come away with one I am happy with, however, when it comes to moving subjects, that’s another story, I’d probably take more than 200 🙂
Thanks Bob. it was taken with a lot of consideration for a sign that was just to the left on the building, the sign marred a nice shot 🙂
I can’t see the sign in the photo.
Exactly, the composition was carefully done to omit the sign. 🙂 compared to the building it was hideous.
That’s how you make lemonade out of lemons. 🙂 Well done!
