Every year I tell myself that I will try to get some really good photos during the festival of Diwali (or Deepavali), the Hindu Festival of Lights, I haven’t really made the effort to do this for the last few years. This year I thought I could at least get a photo of one of the many men (yes, and sometimes women/girls) who spin lighted steel-wool in the streets. I think to myself, it can’t be hard right? How can I mess it up?
And then I forget the Tripod….
So, I really wanted to use one of those shots, so here it is 🙂
Great capture!
Thanks Maxikuss, maybe next year I can get a better one!
Dude, that is so amateur! 🙂 If I remembered the right gear every time I would have to do a pooja or something. It is either you forget to bring the right gear, or you bring all 10 tons except the one piece you need.
All hail our Amateur status!! 🙂 I did have the monopod which I ended up using, if only I could have kept that absolutely still for longer 🙂
Beautiful Michael!
Good shot – even without the tripod. Its amazing all the detail that you captured, the sparks that fly, quickly burn out in a few seconds and the scene is gone. Its really awesome to look at!
