2015 Deck – Week 52

I was going to use one of Instagram posts from last night, but as that is already fresh in the memory of the handful of people who follow my posts (here as well as  on Instagram and Facebook) I decided to use one more photo of my youngest daughter, Malina.

2015 Deck – Week 39

Today is Roots Day (not the day I took the photo, but the day I am posting it, December 23rd).

Although not a widespread day of observance, it’s probably a good thing for us to look back at who we are, who our parents and their ancestors were, where we’ve come and what has made us who we are today.

We may also want to reflect on these things and consider what we are passing on to the next generation.

That being said, here’s a photo of my youngest daughter… part of the next generation.

2014 Deck – Week 28

Just over three months old… and she was pulling herself around the matte.

I fully expected that some of my Deck Project photos would be of Malina this year 🙂

I also took a few old building s and some seawall photos this week, but I’m biased towards a photo of Malina 😀

2014 Deck – Week 13

It really wouldn’t matter what photos I took during week 13 of this year, I’d still choose this one.  I could have gotten a spectacular milky way shot, or the best Kaieteur photo ever, even if I had captured the perfect Cock-of-the-rock photo, or gotten the chance to do a photo shoot of Bon Jovi, I’d still choose this one.

We welcomed our second daughter into our family, so I‘ll just stop jabbering and show you the photo I chose, although many of you might have already seen it on Facebook 🙂
