An image for Mash

Recently, I was fortunate to have a photo of mine selected and used for the cover of the Caribbean Airlines in-flight magazine – Caribbean Beat (November – December 2012), and they have also used another to accompany an article in the current issue (January-February 2013)

Amazingly it was an image that I liked, but not one that got a lot of attention
Getting great images during the Mashramani parade is not easy, I’m thankful to come away each year with more than a few that I like.
Here’s the image: Click to see it in the Gallery along with a select set of photos from last year’s Mashramani

Two issues in a row, way to go Mike! Those are going to be a lot of eyes on your photos.
Thanks Nik, lots of eyes, but how many people will look at the name to the side?
Good job! Good angle as well.
Thanks Andrew, getting great pics on Mash day is a challenge, but I seem to get luck and come away with a few I like
Hi Michael
Man, that’s no ordinary achievement. Congrats are in order. Love this photo. The mood is definitely there.
Regards
Cecil
Thanks Cecil, you should come down for Mashramani a year
Great Picture Mike. Congrats again. Seeing your work in a magazine is great. I always read photographer’s names when I see them in magazines. It is interesting to note the controversy over Mashramani which I am sure the creators never intended but I guess in our world today that is now to be expected.
Thanks David
Seeing my image in an “international” publication is great
Good photograph, quite painterly in effect. (uh oh Michael, you’re starting to look “professional” to me!)
thanks Mary,
This was last Mashramani
Great picture, quite painterly in effect. (Uh oh, Michael, you are beginning to look quite “professional” to me!)
